Apples in Winter (trad.), The Frost is All Over (trad.)
These are two jigs we paired for our Christmas show a few years ago, they worked so well that we decided to record them. There are many verses to “The Frost is All Over” which was popularised by the piper Séamus Ennis, and also by The Clancy Brothers. These are just a sample of them:

Lyrics

The praties are dug and the frost is all over, Kitty lie over close to the wall, For you to be drunk and for me to be sober, Kitty lie over close to the wall.
What’ll you do if the kettle boils over? What’ll I do, only fill it again? What’ll you do if the cow ate the clover? What’ll I do, only set it again?
